It was in the last week that HTC announced the launch of couple of smartphones – Desire 620 and Desire 620G. Now, the Taiwanese vendor has announced the launch of the Desire 620G dual SIM smartphone in India for a pricing of Rs 15,423. The device is available in Marble White and Grey color variants.
Detailing on technical aspects, the HTC Desire 620G boasts of a 5 inch IPS display packing a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels that translates to a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. On the raw hardware front, the HTC offering is stuffed with a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor that is supplemented with Mali 450-MP4 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM. This processor is pretty standard and it is used in many octa core smartphones that exist in the market and hence, we know its performance levels.
To meet the storage requirements of users is met by 8 GB of internal storage space that can be extended by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system topped with Sense 6 UI with enhanced features. The imaging hardware of the Desire 620G comprises of an 8 MP primary camera paired with LED flash and support for FHD 1080p video recording. Also, there is a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper with BSI sensor that will result in better quality self portrait shots and video conferencing.
Keeping things juiced up is a 2,100 mAh removable battery and there are connectivity aspects such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and GPS. Furthermore, there are dual front facing stereo speakers as well for an immersive audio experience.
