HTC will be launching another smartphone later this month, if sources are to be believed. HTC launched their flagship One M9 at the Mobile World Congress this year. But looks like this is not it for HTC as there are reports speculating about a new phone with Quad HD display to be launched near the end of this month. The device will be named HTC One E9 and will feature a Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels and will be the HTC’s first phone to feature the Quad HD display.
According to reports leaked in time the phone will sport a 5.5 inch display. But the surprise is that One E9 will not bring on board the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which is housed in HTC One M9. One E9 will pack a 64 bit, mediatek MT6795 Octa core processor clocking 2.0 GHz. It will bring the BoomSound speakers on board with a 20 MP rear camera and 4 MP ultra pixel front camera. Also it was reported that there might be a 13 Mp front camera on some variants. Looks like HTC is going to take a big leap forward. It will run android lollipop with Sense 7.0 UI on top of it. It might be available in three colors namely white rose gold, metallic grey and brown gold. Although it might be the anticipated and rumored One M9 Plus, just another variant of recently launched One M9. It is not clear whether HTC will launching this phone worldwide or not. So wait and watch is the only option available currently for all the HTC fans.
