Following India based manufacturers such as Celkon, Karbonn, Micromax and Xolo, iBall is the most recent homegrown player to jump into the Windows Phone bandwagon. The vendor appears to be all geared up to launch the Andi 4L Pulse that has been listed on its official website without any word on its pricing and availability related information.

Notably, the Andi 4L Pulse is the firm’s first Windows Phone 8.1 based smartphone. Also, the device was listed online for sale for a reasonable pricing of Rs 4,899. The iBall Andi 4L Pulse is a dual SIM device and it arrives fitted with a 4 inch HD display with WVGA 480×800 pixel resolution. Internally, the iBall Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone is stuffed with a 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 backed by a mere 512 MB of RAM that should suffice for the platform to sail through efficiently.

The iBall Andi 4L Pulse flaunts a 5 MP primary camera accompanied by LED flash and BSI sensor for an enhanced photography experience in its class and there is a VGA selfie camera up front for video conferencing. The internal storage capacity of the iBall smartphone remains undisclosed and we expect it to be 4 GB as a retailer had suggested earlier. Also, we know that there will be support for expandable storage via a micro SD card.

Like the other Windows Phone devices in the segment, the iBall Andi 4L Pulse also comes preloaded with OneDrive, Xbox, Microsoft Office and Bing search applications. It is energized by a standard 1,500 mAh battery without disclosing the specific talk time and standby time that it will render. The iBall Andi 4L Pulse is a standard one in terms of connectivity packing 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB features.

If the pricing suggested by the online retailer turns out to be authentic, and the iBall Andi 4L Pulse is priced at Rs 4,899, it will be the cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 based smartphone surfacing Celkon Win 400 priced at Rs 4,979 and Lava Iris Win1 costing Rs 4,999 respectively.
