The LG G3 Stylus has been making rounds in rumors since quite sometime. It was much acclaimed for borrowing the design elements from the flagship model – LG G3. Now, LG has officially launched the affordable smartphone ahead of the upcoming IFA 2014 tech show to happen in Berlin in the first week of September.
As the name suggests, the LG G3 Stylus comes with a Rubberdium stylus pen and features an all new user experience with the LG G3 like UX features. In terms of specifications, the LG G3 Stylus is fitted with a 5.5 inch display carrying a qHD screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. Powering the handset is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that is paired with 1 GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking and smooth app handling.
On the imaging department, LG has given the G3 Stylus with a 13 MP primary snapper at its back that is coupled with LED flash in order to render enhanced performance even under low light conditions. At the front, the device incorporates a 1.3 MP front-facing selfie camera for making video calls and clicking self portrait shots.
The LG G3 Stylus bundles 8 GB of native storage space that is pretty impressive and a standard feature among the mid-rangers. Also, this storage capacity can be expanded externally with the help of a micro SD card, but the limit is not specified. Other goodies onboard the LG G3 Stylus include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity features and a juicy 3,000 mAh battery to pump in a decent backup to the device.
Coming to the design aspects of the LG G3 Stylus, the handset has rear buttons, slim bezels at the front and a metallic skin design as in the LG G3. Also, there are software aspects such as Dual Window, QuickMemo+ that merges aspects including Quickmemo, Memo and Notebook, Knock Code and Smart Keyboard.
LG has announced LG G3 Stylus in different color options such as Black, Gold and White and it is slated to go on sale in 3G markets in September. Initially, the handset will be launched in Brazil and it will be followed by other markets such as Asia, Middle East, Africa and CIS. The pricing of the device depending on the region will be announced at the time of its release and it will showcased at the IFA 2014
