It appears like the South Korean tech firm LG has slashed the pricing of couple of its mid-range smartphones including L80 Dual and L90 Dual in India. Though there is no official word regarding this move by the firm, the entrusted Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom has posted the discounted price tags of the LG smartphones on Twitter.
According to the retailer, the LG L80 Dual will be retailing for a lowered pricing of Rs 11,999 and the LG L90 Dual will be selling for a price tag of Rs 13,499. Furthermore, the retailer also revealed that the new pricing for the LG smartphones will be going effective from November 15, though we do not have any information from LG India still regarding this matter.
Notably, the e-commerce giant Flipkart is retailing the LG L80 Dual and LG L90 Dual for discounted pricing of Rs 11,899 and Rs 13,489 respectively tipping that this price drop on the mid-rangers could be authentic, though they have not reflected by the official LG India website.
Earlier this year, LG announced the L80 Dual and the L90 Dual smartphones for Rs 17,500 and Rs 19,000 respectively. Also, in September, LG slashed the pricing of its current flagship smartphone, G3 by Rs 5,000. The other smartphones from the vendor that have got their pricing trimmed include LG L60 Dual, LG L70 Dual and LG F70.
When it comes to specifications, the LG L80 Dual is given a 5 inch WVGA IPS display and uses a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It features a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper. There is 4 GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card and a 2,540mAh battery.
On the other hand, L90 Dual is fitted with a 4.7 inch IPS display boasting a qHD resolution and is fueled by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that is supplemented by 1 GB of RAM. Furthermore, there is 8 GB of native memory capacity that can be extended externally up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.
Other goodies of the device include an 8 MP rear snapper, a 1.3 MP front camera and a 2,540 mAh battery.
