On Friday, Microsoft India started sending out media invites for an event for an event slated to happen on Wednesday. The invite sent by the firm reads, “Five days to magic of triple 5.” It clearly hints that the vendor will be launching the Lumia 535 that was announced globally earlier this month.
Eventually, while unveiling the smartphone, Microsoft claimed that it the new Lumia 535 has the 5x5x5 smartphone package as it comes with a 5 inch display, 5 MP front and 5 MP rear cameras along with other enhancements.
Notably, soon after the official announcement of the Lumia 535, the dual SIM variant of the smartphone was spotted on the official Microsoft India website with a ‘coming soon’ status. This clearly showed that the firm is focused in launching the smartphone soon in the Indian market.
To remind you of the specifications, the Lumia 535 is based on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update and is given a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a qHD resolution of 540×960 pixels that is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. The device gets energized with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor ticking at 1.2 GHz supplemented with 1 GB of RAM.
Storage wise, there is 8 GB of default storage space in the Lumia 535 that can be expandable further up to 128 GB via a micro SD card. Moreover, Microsoft provides 15 GB of free OneDrive cloud storage space as well to the smartphone.
As mentioned above, the Lumia 535 comes with a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper similar to the front facer on Lumia 730. The handset can click clear photos with these sensors and the Lumia Selfie app helps in clicking, editing and sharing the selfies that have been captured effortlessly. Other aspects of the Lumia 535 that will be launched in India on November 26 include Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS and a 1,905 mAh battery.
The Lumia 535 will be available in colorful options such as Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey and Black color variants just like the other Lumia smartphones. It comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office, Subway Surfers, Cortana, Instagram and more.
