If the most recent rumors and leaks are to be believed, we can witness the launch of the Nexus 6 made by Motorola sometime soon. Besides the Nexus 6, Google also veil off another device, the HTC made Nexus 9 tablet codenamed Volantis and the Android L update.
Lately, we have been seeing too many leaks regarding the Motorola Nexus 6 codenamed Shamu with some of them revealing the possible specifications and design of the device. Now, a report from Android Police has come up with an interesting Nexus 6 tidbit. Well, the report claims that a tipster has spotted the upcoming device in the wild.
Of course, we have seen the Nexus 6 leaked images many times in previous leaks, but this one is the clearest image leaked so far. The leaked image clearly shows the smartphone’s front, but there is no authenticity to claim that it is the device codenamed Shamu.
From the image, it is clear that the Nexus 6 runs on Android L that is based on the design of software rendered navigational buttons. But, the device does not appear to boast a speaker below the display as it was rumored to be in the previous leaks.
In addition to this leak, another report by DroidLife shows the smartphone via an unofficial render revealing the device’s back. This clearly shows the Motorola and Nexus branding on the back of the handset. If the design of the Nexus 6 as leaked in this image is true, the handset will be looking pretty similar to the new Moto X in terms of design.
Going by the previous reports, the Nexus 6 would arrive fitted with a 5.9 inch QHD 2560×1440 touch screen display and be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC. It is also claimed to include a 13 MP rear camera onboard.
