As you all know OnePlus One has been one of the most successful smartphone of 2014 and is still pretty going strong. OnePlus has decided to sell it further in 13 European countries. Time and again rumors have surfaced about the successor’s specifications, launch date and price. OnePlus Two was earier repoted to be coming in Q2 but looks like it is far from it.
Carl Pei, chief executive at OnePlus has now confirmed that OnePlus Two might be coming somewhere around September – October time period. Well, this might be sad news for some OnePlus fans out there who are eagerly waiting for the “Flagship Killer”‘ successor’s launch. They have to wait another 6 long months if they want to own this upcoming smartphone. Though speculations continue to rise about the specifications of the OnePlus Two. Some reports suggesting a 5.5 inch quad HD display along with 4 GB of ram with Qualcomm snapdragon 810 processor underneath. Though nothing is confirmed by Carl Pei but he went on to say that invite system would be kept which started with OnePlus One. He further said that invite system is a good way to manage early days of a product life cycle and to handle the stock without risks of running out of products. Well those who own OnePlus One might know how hard it is to procure an invite to own this so called flagship killer. Looks like the invite system will return to haunt all the OnePlus fans out there who are planning to buy OnePlus Two.
