Finally, Oppo took the wraps off its current flagship smartphone Oppo N3 at an event in Singapore. The handset is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs 40,100) and it is listed on the official website of Oppo. It is also claimed that the dual SIM variant of the N3 will be launched later.
The highlight of the Oppo N3 is its motorized swivel camera that can track the objects in motion and it can be rotated up to 206 degrees to click selfies effortlessly. There is a 16 MP primary camera with a sensor size of 1/2.3 inches and a pixel size of 1.34 micrometers respectively. The camera is claimed to be capable of shooting 64 MP panorama shots and comes with dual LED flash as well.
Oppo claims that the Ultra image 2.0 camera suite includes features such as slow shutter, shooting in RAW and ultra macro mode after focus. Furthermore, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back panel that can perform several functions such as protecting the images with fingerprint authentication, unlocking the phone and more.
When it comes to the other specifications, the Oppo N3 comes with a 5.5 inch FHD 1920×1080 pixel IPS LCD display that carries a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch. Fueled by Color OS 2.0 UI based on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, the flagship model comes equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor ticking at 2.5 GHz clock speed. This processor is teamed up with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics unit in order to take charge of the multi-tasking and graphic handling capabilities.
The Oppo N3 bundles 32 GB of native storage capacity that can be extended externally by another 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Other goodies onboard the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi, USB OTG and a 3,000 mAh battery. It is claimed that the battery features the VOOC rapid charging technology that can recharge it from 0 percent to 75 percent in just 30 minutes.
