The worst thing about android wearable devices is the poor battery life but looks like that is going to change soon. The tech giant from China, OPPO is rumored to be working on a Smartwatch which will be launched sometime around the unveiling of OPPO Find 9. The android wearable’s worst issue is the extremely poor usage time they provide. Though Huawei smartwatch can last for two days but most of the smartwatches out in the market are not that power efficient. But OPPO is going to change it soon with their rumored smartwatch which will be charged fully in a record 5 minutes time.
If reports are to be believed then OPPO will be incorporating their VOOC ( Voltage Open Loop Multi-Step Constant Current Charging) rapid charging technology in this smartwatch. Considering the tiny batteries of smartwatches it will be awesome to charge it in 5 minutes using a VOOC charger. As of now it is not known whether it will run on android as other wearable devices or propreitary OS. Pricing and availability details will be known once more details surface about this now rumored smartwatch.
