In an attempt to be future ready Sandisk, the storage capacity juggernaut has debuted the world’s highest capacity, an enormous 200 GB micro SD card. Yes that is true. In an industry’s first Sandisk has launched this 200 GB micro SD card at the ongoing MWC 2015.
Currently there is not a single phone in the world that supports this 200 GB SD card but who knows what the future holds for us. This SD card dubbed as SanDiask Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card. According to SanDisk this class 10 SD card offers a data transfer speeds of 90 Mbps which is amazingly fast and will be a premium edition card. This card will be launched with a warranty of 10 years. But you must be surprised to know that this card comes with a price tag of $399 which is approx.Rs. 24,000. Using this SD card in case you do will make your smartphone into a portable hard drive. Speaking of hard drive you can easily buy one spending just around Rs. 4000. This card will be available for purchase in second quarter of 2015.
