Toshiba has recently updated its Excite tablet line up with a new 7 inch tablet running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The tablet is named Toshiba Excite AT7 and it will be available soon at retail stores.

The tablet isn’t a high end featured tablet rather it’s an entry level product but still having some premium features. The most premium feature in this tablet is that it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which is one of the best versions of Android operating system available for tablets.

The tablet has got 7 inch display having resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The display supports 16:9 ratio which makes it perfect for watching HD quality videos and movies.

The Excite AT7 is powered by Rockchip RK3188 chipset having quad core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. There is 1GB of DDR3 RAM inside to make the processing really smooth and it also got 16GB internal storage in which users can put their content like photos, movies, videos and documents. There is a slot for microSD card too using which users can expand the storage of this tablet.

The Excite AT7 got Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (4.0) wireless data connectivity technologies and it also got one microUSB port for faster data connectivity via USB cable.

The tablet is also having rear and front cameras for allowing video chat possible. The tablet measure just 10.9 mm in thickness and it weighs only 345 grams which is an impressive feature.

Toshiba will provide one year manufacturing international warranty to the tablet and the tablet is packed with a 1-cell battery which is providing 8 hours of battery life on heavy usage which is another impressive feature.

On top of all the features, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which is the operating system of Excite AT7 tablet is a very fast and smoother version of Android OS for tablets. This newer version brings out lots of new features like multi user accounts and smoother experience with support for more graphics technologies.

Toshiba has developed this tablet for the multimedia usage. They also added built in high quality speakers so that users can enjoy watching movies and playing games with immense pleasure.

  1. The only thing that i don’t like with this tab is that you cannot transfer the apps to the sd card. Everything is ok with me…

  2. What seems to be the problem with this tablet of mine? I have difficulty in opening this (log in) and it takes several minutes to open this. And it automatically locks or closes down even if I am not doing it. This had been the case since I newly bought it.

    It’s front camera is not working no option showing in camera as I used its front ca!era when I newly buy this plz tel the solution how it’s front camera will work
